The Purple Flare Interconnect is a fully-shielded design that can be terminated for balanced or single-ended connection. It employs six, 26 AWG silver-plated 99.9999% OFC solid core conductors, precision wound in a minimum cross-section configuration that eliminates unnecessary fillers or padding elements. The insulation of this cable is a high-grade FEP, selected for its superior dielectric performance, while the elegant minimalism extends to the carefully selected low-mass connectors and differential grounding. The result is a high-speed, low-loss interconnect with a wide bandwidth that preserves a sense of musical power and momentum.
REVIEW & AWARDS
Nordost Leif Purple Flare Speaker Cables and Interconnects - Read More
"I heard differences almost from the get-go, and those differences were improvements: better resolution of low-level details, and better spatial definition... Nordost cables lend a touch of high-tech finishing to an audio system that most other cables, particularly affordable ones, don’t. " - Al Griffin
NORDOST PURPLE FLARE CABLE – MY BLUE HEAVEN - Read More
"Blue Heaven has been improved at least a couple times since I reviewed it. However, Nordost's Purple Flare, considered a rung below the current incarnation of Blue Heaven, doesn't just conjure up fond memories. It's a little trip to heaven of its own" - Neil Gader
