Features

MM/MC Compatible: The Parasound Zphono is a phono preamplifier that can be used with turntables featuring a MM (moving magnet) or MC (moving coil) cartridge. There is a selector switch on the back-panel to indicate which type of cartridge you are using.

Stereo RCA Inputs/Outputs: The Parasound Zphono is equipped with stereo RCA jacks for its inputs and outputs. Connect your turntable to the Zphono's stereo RCA inputs. Connect your AV receiver or integrated amplifier to the Zphono's stereo RCA outputs.

Ground Screw: Connect the ground wire of your turntable to the Zphono's ground terminal to prevent against hum.

AC Polarity Switch: One of the most effective methods for reducing hum is to reverse the polarity of the Zphono's AC connection. The AC Polarity switch on the back-panel enables you to reverse the AC polarity. The "Normal" position is usually correct, but if background hum is audible you might eliminate it by moving the AC Polarity switch to "Invert".

Detachable AC Power Cord: The included 6' AC power cord will need to be plugged into the back of the Zphono and into an AC wall outlet or surge protector/line conditioner (sold separately - see Accessories Tab).

Optional Rack Mount Kit: The Zphono occupies only half the width of a single rack space in a standard 19" equipment rack. You can mount a single Zphono in a 1U rack space or fasten it to another Parasound Z series component using the ZRK Rack mount kit (sold separately - see Accessories Tab).
