Positive Feedback has reviewed Harbeth’s SHL5plus XD2, the current generation of one of the British company’s best-known large-format loudspeakers.
What the review covers
The review examines the XD2 revision, including Harbeth’s updated low/mid driver and revised crossover, and considers how those engineering changes translate into system integration and musical presentation.
House of Stereo Take
The SHL5plus XD2 sits in an important position in Harbeth’s range: large enough to deliver convincing scale and bass weight while retaining the brand’s monitor-derived priorities. For customers considering it, amplifier quality, stand height and room placement deserve as much attention as the loudspeaker itself.
