An anniversary badge is nice. An amplifier built around independently supplied left and right channels is more interesting. The A50 Signature marks ARCAM’s fiftieth year with a dual-mono Class G design and 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms. It is aimed at listeners who want a substantial stereo without dividing the amplifier into several boxes.

The anniversary story is inside the chassis.
The A50 Signature gives each channel its own amplifier module, transformer windings, regulation, reservoir capacitors, Class G lifter stage and output-stage heatsink. That is the substance behind the dual-mono description. It is not a claim that the chassis contains two entirely separate mains transformers.
Its ESS ES9039Q2M DAC sits alongside new volume-control and Class A MM/MC phono circuitry. The October 2026 owner’s manual confirms three RCA line inputs plus a balanced XLR pair, HDMI eARC/ARC, two coaxial inputs, one optical input and USB-C. The manual is also our reference for dimensions, weight and power consumption where ARCAM’s web table differs. Pair it with the CD25 over XLR or RCA, and add a network streamer if that is how you listen.
