Coaxial mid-tweeter
Inspired by the technical solutions that make the Cabasse Eole satellite a success, the 2-way coaxial speaker in the MC170 range adds to the fidelity of timbres a depth and realism of the sound image unmatched in its category in high fidelity as in home cinema.
high-performance woofers
The shape of the 17cm speaker's basket was specially designed by Cabasse to provide maximum mechanical rigidity and a low resonant frequency, resulting in improved bass extension without coloration. The long voice coil on a Kapton former is perfectly ventilated, the vertical port radiates sound 360°, and the power handling and acceleration capabilities are exceptional.
HDSE filters
The Cabasse protocol for measurements in an anechoic chamber takes into account measurements on-axis and across 360° for perfect control of directivity and total radiated power, in accordance with the Cabasse principle of Homogeneous Distribution of Sonic Energy (HDSE). Direct and reflected sounds are homogeneous, resulting in a wide and stable soundstage.

The stands, specially designed to accommodate Cabasse bookshelf speakers, are available in matte black and white finishes.
