The only 3-way coaxial satellite in the world, the Baltic 5 on its brushed aluminum base, has offered unique and unparalleled acoustic and musical properties since its inception, closely approaching the ideal point source. This fifth version is equipped with a completely redesigned triaxial driver, which, together with the Baltic 5 sphere, forms an even more powerful and versatile pulsating sphere.

Further improving the performance of the Baltic 4 without altering the sphere's dimensions led the Cabasse team to design, exclusively in its laboratories, aramid films specifically for developing new midrange and bass/low-midrange diaphragms. These diaphragms exhibit a consistent and regular profile, with maximum radiating surfaces and virtually diffraction-free fixed surfaces. The homogeneity and purity of the sound diffusion, from the highest treble to the lowest bass, are exemplary. The lightness and rigidity of this new honeycomb structure, specific to the TCA (Torque-Coated Aramid), combined with the development of new, very powerful rare-earth motors, allow for increased efficiency and power handling of the Baltic 4. The simultaneous production of both diaphragms from the same material by a Cabasse robot guarantees reliability and consistent performance.
HDSE filters
The Cabasse anechoic chamber measurement protocol takes into account measurements both on-axis and across 360°, ensuring perfect control of directivity and total radiated power, in accordance with the Cabasse principle of Homogeneous Distribution of Sonic Energy (HDSE). Direct and reflected sounds are homogeneous, resulting in a wide and stable soundstage.
