T+A / Solitaire T PRO

Your listening room.
Wherever life takes you.

One headphone for the journey, the desk, and the moment you have entirely to yourself.

A personal approach to high fidelity

Stay close to the music.

The Solitaire T PRO brings a dedicated hi-fi sensibility to a headphone you can take with you. Listen wirelessly, connect directly over USB-C, or use a passive analogue connection with your headphone amplifier. Choose Nightflight or Riviera, then make it part of your everyday listening.

At home

A headphone that belongs in your system.

A wired connection gives the Solitaire T PRO a different role: a closed-back listening companion for a dedicated headphone setup. Passive operation sends the analogue signal to the drivers without using the battery.

Active Analog lets you retain volume control and noise cancellation with an analogue source. USB-C provides a direct digital connection for a compatible computer, phone, or tablet.

Choose your connection

Three ways into the music.

Wireless

Bluetooth 6.0 and the Qualcomm QCC 5181 support a broad range of codecs, including LDAC and aptX Adaptive/Lossless. Codec availability depends on your source device and its settings.

USB-C & Studio Pro

Studio Pro Mode uses an ESS ES9219 Sabre DAC, analogue amplification, and analogue volume control. Use USB-C for a direct digital signal path from a compatible source.

Analogue

Listen passively with a suitable headphone output, or switch on Active Analog for powered volume control and ANC. Connection options include Pentaconn, 3.5 mm, and 6.3 mm via the appropriate leads and adapters.

On the move

A little distance from the outside world.

Passive isolation and hybrid noise cancellation address different parts of the surrounding noise. Transparency mode brings the environment back when you need to hear an announcement or speak with someone.

The cups rotate through 90 degrees and fold inward. Machined aluminium parts, close-tolerance hinges, and synthetic-leather cushions are designed for regular travel.

The acoustic foundation

It starts with the driver.

The 42 mm dynamic transducer uses a cellulose diaphragm and carefully placed edge damping. The acoustic design supports passive listening as well as the headphone’s powered modes.

Dolby Atmos adds a spatial listening option for compatible content. For music or films, the source, content, and selected mode determine the experience.

Two expressions of Solitaire

Choose your atmosphere.

Solitaire T PRO Nightflight finish

Nightflight

Black cushions and headband, dark grey accents, and silver metalwork. A restrained finish with a distinctly technical presence.

Solitaire T PRO Riviera finish

Riviera

Cream white and cognac brown set against silver metalwork. A warmer interpretation of the same headphone.

T+A Riviera product information ↗

How does PRO differ from the original Solitaire T?

The PRO adds Bluetooth 6.0, a broader wireless feature set, Dolby Atmos, and Studio Pro operation with the ES9219 DAC. Its rated battery life is 50 hours, or 25 in Studio Pro, compared with 70 hours and 35 in HQ mode for the original.

Can I use it when the battery is empty?

Yes, passive analogue listening does not require battery power. Bluetooth, USB digital playback, ANC, and powered modes require the appropriate powered connection or charged battery.

Which headphone amplifier should I use?

The HA 200 is T+A’s dedicated headphone amplifier and DAC. Ask House of Stereo about suitable outputs and cabling for passive Solitaire T PRO use. An external headphone amplifier is optional; Bluetooth and USB-C operation do not require one.
