A digital front end with streaming built in.

The PMG Signature 512 DAC combines PS Audio’s PureStream conversion engine with a network streamer and a balanced analog output stage. It can anchor a system of digital sources or serve as the hub for network music.

One DAC with integrated network streaming. Amplification and speakers are separate.

PureStream and SpectraWave

The DAC processes incoming music through the PureStream DSD512 engine and a 64-tap SpectraWave filter. These are parts of its internal conversion architecture; they do not mean every input accepts the same file formats. A balanced Class A analog stage delivers the converted signal to your system.

Streaming and conventional sources

The built-in streamer supports Roon Ready operation and services including TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Spotify Premium, subject to the relevant service and network requirements. USB, I²S, coaxial, optical, and balanced XLR digital inputs also support dedicated transports and computers. Use fixed output with a preamplifier, or configure variable output carefully when using the DAC’s volume control.

Make it work in your system

Thoughtful setup makes the difference.

Match the digital input

Select the connection your transport or computer supports. Sample-rate and DSD limits vary by interface.

Check output mode

Use fixed output into a preamplifier. If using variable output directly with amplification, configure it carefully at a low starting level.

Confirm I²S compatibility

An HDMI-shaped I²S connector is not a television HDMI port. Confirm pin configuration and format support at both ends.

Before you choose

Common questions

Can I use it with a preamplifier?

Yes. Connect its analog outputs to a suitable line input and configure output level as described in the manual.

Can I connect I²S to a TV’s HDMI port?

No. The connector shape does not make this a television HDMI interface. I²S compatibility must be checked with the audio source.

Keep researching.
