Synergistic Research / Galileo Lux / Analog interconnects

Two stages.
A considered connection.

Choose the analog connection for the job it will do. Galileo Lux interconnects offer RCA and XLR, now with separate Source-to-Preamp and Preamp-to-Power voicing choices.

A visual guide

Match the cable
to its place in the chain.

SR describes two role-specific voicings. Choose the stage and the connection type in the selector above.

Connection maps show two system roles. Each selection is a stereo interconnect pair for one role.

The details that matter

Understand the design.

01 / MATERIALS

Silver wire and ribbon.

SR combines monofilament silver AirStrings with silver ribbon geometries. Its construction summary distinguishes RCA and XLR versions.

02 / VOICING

Designed for the stage.

SR characterizes Source-to-Preamp voicing around low-level nuance, and Preamp-to-Power voicing around foundation and dynamic scale. These are its listening design goals.

03 / SHIELDING

Lux Matrix Shielding.

SR identifies graphene-based UEF Matrix Shielding and a Lux-specific treatment derived from SRX XL. High-voltage conditioning is part of the factory process.

SR’s technology descriptions identify its design approach and intended effects. Evaluate the result in the context of your own system.

System role.
Your listening priorities.

RCA and XLR identify the physical analog interface. Source-to-Preamp and Preamp-to-Power identify SR’s intended voicing roles. Consider both choices when planning the cable between two components.

Specifications and design descriptions: Synergistic Research. Confirm unusual connections with House of Stereo.

Before you choose

Match the system you have.

Which voicing should I select?

Choose Source to Preamp for the connection from a compatible line-level source to a preamplifier. Choose Preamp to Power for the link from your preamplifier to a power amplifier. For an integrated amplifier or an unusual system, contact us to confirm the role.

Should I choose RCA or XLR?

Match both components. RCA requires compatible RCA inputs and outputs; XLR requires compatible XLR connections. Tell us the component models if you want help choosing between available interfaces.

What does the price include?

One stereo interconnect pair in the selected connection, voicing, length and finish. Two Master and two Gold passive tuning modules are included.

Give the comparison
some context.

Compare the cable in one system role at a time. Keep the recording, level and other connections consistent. Vocal texture, image stability and ease over a full album can be more useful observations than a brief change of track.

Let’s get the connection right.

Tell us about your equipment, cable route and listening priorities. We’ll help you choose the configuration.
