SoundStage! Hi-Fi has published a full review of the NAD Masters M33 V2, the second-generation version of NAD’s reference BluOS streaming integrated amplifier. Reviewer Roger Kanno finds that the V2 preserves the successful all-in-one concept while meaningfully refining its digital and amplification architecture.
What SoundStage! Found
The review highlights NAD’s move to second-generation Purifi Eigentakt amplification, a new ESS ES9039PRO DAC, revised analog-to-digital conversion, BluOS streaming and Dirac Live room correction. SoundStage! also evaluates the built-in phono stage, headphone output and broad system connectivity.
In listening, the M33 V2 is described as powerful, articulate, controlled and highly revealing, while remaining easy to live with as a complete modern system hub.
House of Stereo Take
The M33 V2 is compelling because it can serve as amplifier, DAC, streamer, room-correction platform and system control center in one chassis without treating sound quality as secondary. For many serious two-channel systems, that combination can simplify the rack while still leaving room for future upgrades.
