Awards get our attention.
Your system gets our care.
Our guide to this year’s winning speakers, turntables, electronics and home theater equipment—and where they might fit in your home.

From Joe Parvey • Jacksonville, Florida
We like seeing good equipment get its due. We like helping someone build a system they love even more.
The EISA Awards bring together the judgments of specialist publications across the world. This year’s winners include quite a few products that belong in a conversation with House of Stereo—from turntables and phono stages to streaming systems, speakers and home theater equipment.
Take the Focal Mu-so Hekla. We have one here, and I put one in my parents’ house. Whenever we meet a music lover who cannot accommodate a traditional stereo, we look for an opportunity to show what Hekla can do. An award is welcome recognition, but our enthusiasm started with using it.
That is how we approach this list. What do you listen to? Where will the equipment go? What do you already own? The answers tell us much more than a trophy ever could.
01 / Make space for music
A serious system can fit your life.
A pair of speakers, a compact amplifier or one integrated system: there are several good ways to bring music home. Start with the space you have and what you want to hear.

EISA Immersive Audio System 2026–2027
Focal Mu-so Hekla
For music lovers who cannot fit a traditional stereo at home, Hekla gives us a serious place to start. We have one in the shop, and I put one in my parents’ house. That is a stronger recommendation than anything we could put on a spec sheet. Its EISA recognition is a welcome nod to a system we already believe in.

EISA All-in-One System 2026–2027
Primare Allt-i-Ett
Primare takes its own approach to putting a complete system into one piece. Allt-i-Ett is worth a conversation when you want streaming convenience and a substantial listening experience, but separate speakers and electronics do not suit the space. Tell us what you want to connect and where it will live; that is where the choice becomes meaningful.

EISA Wireless Bookshelf Loudspeakers 2026–2027
Cambridge Audio L/R X
If you can make room for two speakers, do. Separating the left and right channels gives the music a stage to occupy. L/R X builds streaming and amplification into the speakers, making it an appealing route from a single Bluetooth speaker to a proper stereo arrangement. We will help you decide how much speaker your room actually needs.

EISA Multi-Room Amplifier 2026–2027
Bluesound POWERNODE N331
Have a pair of speakers you love? POWERNODE N331 puts streaming and amplification together in a compact box, with HDMI eARC for a compatible television. It is a sensible starting point for a straightforward stereo, and BluOS gives you a path to music in additional rooms. Speaker matching still matters; small electronics do not make every speaker an easy load.

EISA Accessory 2026–2027
Pro-Ject Wireless Box E
A good pair of passive speakers may have plenty of music left in it. Wireless Box E adds compact amplification and WiiM-based streaming, attaching directly to compatible speakers or connecting by an optional extension cable. It is a clever way to bring an existing pair into a streaming setup without finding space for a conventional amplifier. Bring us the speaker details first so we can check connections and matching.

EISA Best Value Streaming Amplifier 2026–2027
Pro-Ject Uni Box S3
Pro-Ject makes more than turntables. Uni Box S3 brings streaming, amplification, HDMI eARC, an MM phono input and a headphone output into a compact component. Add suitable speakers and you have a small system with room for television, records and streamed music. That flexibility matters when one system has to do several jobs. Tell us what you want to connect, and we can work through the speaker match and setup.

EISA Wireless Loudspeakers 2026–2027
Denon Home 200 / 400 / 600
Sometimes you want music in the kitchen, bedroom or another room where a full stereo would be impractical. Denon’s Home 200, 400 and 600 use HEOS to make music across the house easier to manage. The larger 400 and 600 add dedicated upward-firing drivers for Dolby Atmos Music; the compact 200 uses virtualization. Choose the size around the room and how you listen. We can help you plan how these fit with an existing HEOS system.

Give your records a proper system.
Three award winners. Three useful starting points for the analog conversation. The cartridge, phono stage and setup deserve just as much care as the turntable you choose.

EISA Premium Turntable 2026–2027
Thorens TD 404 DD
A turntable should make you want to pull another record from the shelf. Thorens brings a long history of record playback to the direct-drive TD 404 DD. For someone putting together an ambitious analog front end, this is a good reason to talk through the whole combination: turntable, cartridge, phono stage and the surface supporting them.

EISA Turntable 2026–2027
Pro-Ject Debut Reference 10
The Debut Reference 10 gives someone stepping into serious vinyl playback a lot to consider. Pro-Ject’s focus on the arm, platter and drive system makes this a useful starting point for a system that can grow. We would rather help you get the setup right from day one than have you spend the next year chasing a setup problem with accessories.

EISA Phono Preamplifier 2026–2027
Pro-Ject Tube Box S3 B
The phono stage is easy to overlook because it is usually a small box doing a quiet job. It is also handling one of the smallest signals in your system. Tube Box S3 B belongs in the conversation when you are choosing a cartridge or improving an existing turntable setup. Let’s check gain, loading and connections together.

Choose the pieces that belong together.
Amplifiers, speakers and digital sources work as a system. An award gives a component a place on the shortlist; matching it to your room and the equipment around it is where we come in.

EISA Best Value Integrated Amplifier 2026–2027
NAD C 3030
Those meters will get your attention. What interests us is the opportunity to build an approachable, satisfying system around a conventional integrated amplifier. C 3030 is a good conversation starter for someone buying their first proper stereo or returning to the hobby. Start with the speakers and the room, then make sure the amplifier fits both.
Explore NAD C 3030 →
EISA Smart Amplifier 2026–2027
NAD M33 V2
M33 V2 is for the listener who wants substantial system capability in one component. Streaming, amplification and room-correction options make it particularly relevant when the room needs attention as well as the equipment. We can help sort out which features you will actually use and how they work with the speakers you already own—or the ones you want next.

EISA Standmount Loudspeakers 2026–2027
Triangle Solstice 3
A standmount speaker can be the center of a very serious stereo. Solstice 3 gives us another reason to bring people into a conversation about placement, listening distance and amplifier matching. We would choose a speaker for the room and the music before worrying about whether it looks impressive enough on a specification chart. Give it proper stands and space to work.

EISA Digital Player 2026–2027
Eversolo T8
T8 is a streaming transport: it sends a digital signal to a separate DAC. That distinction matters if you already own a DAC you like, or want to choose the digital-to-analog stage independently. It lets you improve the way you access and manage music while keeping the rest of your system in the conversation.
Explore Eversolo T8 →
EISA DAC 2026–2027
Eversolo DAC-Z10
DAC-Z10 handles the conversion from digital music to the analog signal your amplifier needs. It makes an obvious partner to discuss alongside T8, but the right choice depends on your existing sources and system. Tell us what is feeding the DAC and what comes after it. A useful recommendation starts with the complete signal path.

EISA Integrated Amplifier 2026–2027
Musical Fidelity M6xi
The amplifier has to suit the speakers, especially when the music gets demanding. M6xi brings 230 watts per channel into 8 ohms, analog and digital connections, HDMI eARC and an MM/MC phono stage. Streaming comes from a separate source, giving you the freedom to choose that piece independently. For someone building a substantial stereo around speakers they intend to keep, this is an amplifier worth discussing as part of the whole system.

Picture and sound, planned together.
A shared living room and a dedicated theater need different solutions. These winners give us options ranging from a soundbar system to a theater built around separate power amplifiers.

EISA Streaming Soundbar 2026–2027
Bluesound PULSE CINEMA & PULSE FLEX
For a shared living room, a soundbar and wireless surrounds can make practical sense. PULSE CINEMA and PULSE FLEX bring the BluOS approach to television as well as music. We would plan this around your seating, television connection and where the rear speakers can go. Wireless surrounds still need power, so placement deserves a little thought before you buy.

EISA Home Theatre RGB LED TV 2026–2027
Sony BRAVIA 9 II — K-75XR95M2
The picture belongs in the system conversation, too. EISA recognized the 75-inch BRAVIA 9 II and its RGB backlighting. Before choosing a television, let’s talk about viewing distance, daylight, mounting and how sound will be handled. Sony is part of our lineup; contact us about this model’s availability and the right installation for your room.

EISA Home Theatre Soundbar 2026–2027
Yamaha TRUE X SURROUND 90A
Yamaha’s winning package combines a soundbar, subwoofer and surround speakers. It is worth discussing when you want a more enveloping movie experience without building a conventional receiver-and-speaker installation. The room still sets the terms. We can help you consider the layout and check current model availability before you commit.

EISA Premium AV Preamplifier 2026–2027
Marantz AV 20
AV 20 is the control and processing center for a home theater built around separate power amplification. This is where a system plan pays off: speaker layout, amplifier channels, subwoofers, wiring and future expansion should be considered together. Marantz is part of our lineup. Talk with us about AV 20 availability and what your theater needs.

Good sound at the desk, too.
Sometimes the right system is the one you put on. Gaming and everyday listening deserve the same attention to comfort, compatibility and sound.

EISA Wireless Gaming Headset 2026–2027
Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC
Good sound matters at a desk, too. Maxwell 2 ANC brings Audeze into the gaming conversation for listeners who care about more than a microphone and a wireless connection. Comfort, platform compatibility and how you divide your time between games and music all matter. We will help you choose the appropriate version for your setup.

EISA Over-ear Headphones 2026–2027
Loewe leo
We have some news of our own: Loewe is joining the House of Stereo lineup, and we’re excited to welcome the brand to Jacksonville. You’ll find Loewe here very soon, with its televisions giving us another reason to talk about how picture and sound fit together at home.
The leo headphones earned this year’s EISA Over-ear Headphones award. With active noise cancellation and both wireless and USB-C listening, they give music lovers another way to take their listening beyond the living room. Loewe is coming soon—contact us for the latest on arrivals and leo availability.
