Incorporating SCS (Spatially Coherent Source) coaxial technology, the MC40 range is designed for all music lovers seeking a new high-fidelity experience. Cabasse invites you to discover a new world of precision, realism, and spatial soundstage. This small, ultra-compact 3-way speaker, equipped with the BC10 coaxial midrange-tweeter and a Duocell cone woofer, allows you to reach a level of emotion previously reserved for larger speakers.
MINORCA MC40 coaxial mid-tweeter
Developed with the same innovative solutions implemented for the mid-high frequency reproduction of our reference system La Sphère, the BC10 adds to the fidelity of timbres, without artifice or listening fatigue, a depth and realism of the sound image unmatched at this price level.
Duocell membrane bass
The 17cm Minorca driver is equipped with a Duocell diaphragm designed by Cabasse and manufactured by Cabasse robots. Very light yet very rigid, and perfectly damped, this diaphragm with its exponential profile and variable thickness allows for maximum use of the dynamic qualities of long-stroke, high-force-factor motors, delivering all the precision and liveliness necessary for faithfully reproducing live sound.
Variable slope filters
The Cabasse anechoic chamber measurement protocol takes into account on-axis and 360° measurements for perfect control of directivity and total radiated power, in accordance with SCS principles. This protocol, combined with numerous listening sessions in rooms with varying acoustics, allows for the fine-tuning of the crossovers. These crossovers feature cutoff slopes ranging from 6 to 24 dB per octave, perfectly taking into account the cabinet shape and fully preserving the intrinsic qualities of our coaxial drivers.
Floorstand – Library
The stands, specially designed to accommodate Cabasse bookshelf speakers, are available in matte black and white finishes. Their clever design conceals cables, ensuring an elegant integration into your listening space. These stands provide exceptional stability for the brand's bookshelf speakers, supporting up to 50 kg.
