The floor standing BR08, inspired by the iconic Antal speaker, was the reference model throughout the design of the Borea range. Elegant three-way floor standing with 4 transducers, it is one of the most appreciated high-fidelity models.

It incorporates a new 25mm EFS silk dome tweeter; a new 16cm midrange with a brand-new profile, based on the research on the natural cellulose paper used before in the Esprit Ez; and two new 16cm bass drivers in fiberglass.

Its three-way configuration diffuses all frequencies with no interference between the transducers, producing precise voices and instruments.

This floorstanding speaker will fit perfectly in rooms ranging from 20 to 40m2.

The range is composed of 4 column-type models (BR07, BR08, BR09 & BR10), 2 library-type models (BR02 & BR03) and a central channel (BRC1). You are free to compose the most efficient systems ranging from 2.0 to 9.2.4.

At the price this is a revelation, and I’m holding back from introducing a bit more graphic language between those words. What’s separating the Triangle Borea BR08 from loudspeakers costing considerably more is the good, but functional cabinet. More upmarket loudspeakers often have a little more ‘candy’ to their appearance. Instead, Triangle has concentrated on putting fine drivers and great tech into a good cabinet that will sonically outlast many of those shiny boxes of bling.
