ARCAM / Streaming Integrated Amplifier
Keep the music. Lose some boxes.
The SA35 combines a network player, DAC, phono stage and Class G integrated amplifier. That makes it a compelling place to start when you want a serious stereo but do not want to dedicate an entire rack to getting there. The 6.5-inch display also makes album artwork useful from farther away than your nose.
The House of Stereo perspective
Where the SA35 fits.
Its 120 watts per channel and Dirac Live room correction address two different parts of the system: driving the speakers and helping manage their interaction with the room. Room correction is a tool, not permission to put a speaker anywhere. We can help with placement, calibration and subwoofer integration before you start chasing the next upgrade.
At a glance
SA35 specifications
Stereo 8-ohm power ratings: both channels driven, 20Hz–20kHz, 0.5% THD. Speaker impedance, room size and listening level all affect amplifier matching.

The engineering behind the one-box appeal.
ARCAM’s fifth-generation Class G amplification is only part of the SA35. The streaming and digital circuitry uses a six-layer board with a continuous ground plane, ESS Hyperstream IV conversion and jitter-reduction circuitry. A linear toroidal supply powers normal operation; a switching supply handles standby. The point is to manage noise and interference inside a component doing several jobs at once.
The 6.5-inch display shows artwork and track information, while the Radia app provides setup, radio and podcast access. Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, AirPlay, Google Cast and Roon Ready are listed by ARCAM. Network playback supports PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD256; the optical and coaxial inputs are separately specified up to 24-bit/192kHz.
Connections, room correction and setup
Connect a CD player or external phono stage to a line input; use the dedicated MM or MC input only for a suitable cartridge. HDMI eARC brings in a compatible television. The two subwoofer outputs and Dirac Live provide tools for integrating the speakers with the room. They do not remove the need for sensible placement.
ARCAM supplies a measurement microphone and a 5m USB cable. The manual walks through account setup, microphone calibration, measurements, target-curve adjustment and loading a filter. Start with placement and sensible playback levels, then measure the listening area. Ask us to help with the calibration if this is unfamiliar territory.
Use the current manuals for available settings and licensing. Streaming subscriptions, compatible devices and firmware affect the services you can use; maximum file resolution is not available through every playback method.
