A turntable for everyone – Handmade in Europe!

The E1 from Pro-Ject Audio Systems is the first E-Line turntable, aiming to deliver a great sound experience on a limited budget, hand made in Europe. It doesn‘t matter if you are a beginner, returnee or experienced vinyl fan. The E1 won‘t disappoint you! Our Plug & Play design with pre-adjusted tracking force and anti skating by our experienced technicians in the factory provides you the best settings for your turntable. Just lean back and enjoy your favourite records. The new E1 is available in three different versions to fit everyone‘s needs. All three models are equipped with an 33/45 RPM electronic speed switch.

The stylish CNC-machined composite fibre plinth, available in high gloss black, satin white or walnut finish, is carefully manufactured to ensure there are no hollow spaces inside. The lightweight and low friction 8,6“ aluminium tonearm is optimized for the high quality Audio Technica AT 3600 L cartridge and will bring out its maximum potential. The new ABS Polymer main platter is strengthened with purpose-designed ridges in order to create an ideal, anti- resonant platform for your vinyl. To protect your E1 from dust, you will also find an elegant acrylic dustcover with adjustable hinges in the box. Boasting premium materials, stylish aesthetics and a rich, lively sound, the extensive development process has ensured that there has been no compromise in the sound performance despite such an affordable price.

The E1 Phono adds an internal phono preamplifier to the standard version and is the perfect model for you, if you don‘t have a phono preamplifier in your current setup.

REVIEW & AWARDS

Pro-Ject E1 BT im Test: Erschwinglicher Bluetooth-Plattenspieler - Read More

"What even more expensive turntables don‘t always achieve straight away, this one gets right from the first side of the record: the tonal balance. The music grooves in a balanced, harmonious and effortless way, with a warm bass foundation and just the right amount of treble." - Bernhard Rietschel

Pro-Ject Audio Systems E1 Phono Turntable with Ortofon OM 5E Cartridge - Read More

" Bottom line, this is a fine entry-level turntable for someone just getting into or returning to vinyl. It’s incredibly easy to set up, it plays records just fine, and it’s priced right. Pro-Ject has produced a unit that will get someone up and running and playing music that sounds bright and flavorful but doesn’t tire their ears on long sessions. " - Thom Moon

Review: Pro-Ject E1 Phono – On the Road to Maturity - Read More

"With the E1 Phono, Pro-Ject offers an extremely neat and complete product. User-friendliness and a lot of quality for the intended target group. The turntable is equipped with an excellent element from Ortofon's OM series. The player offers an excellent and, compared to earlier budget Pro-Ject turntables, more mature sound image via the built-in phono amplifier. The consumer who connects this turntable directly to a good amplifier with a good phono input, can take another step towards better sound quality. The advantage of this turntable is that a button can be used to select its direct output signal (from the element to an input of an external phono amplifier) or the output signal of the built-in phono amplifier (for connection to a normal input of an amplifier). Given these possibilities, it is a very flexible concept. " - Ruud Jonker

Pro-Ject E1 Phono Review: An Almost Budget Turntable, Already Very Audiophile and Upgradeable - Read More

"Simple, intelligently designed with great know-how and care, available in several versions, scalable, the Pro-Ject E1 achieves the perfect synthesis in its price range. The performance of this belt-driven audiophile turntable is of the highest level. The sound reproduction combines freshness, openness and precision, good bass foundation and excellent dynamics " - Pierre Stemmelin
