Start with the power feeding your system.
PowerPlant 12 regenerates AC power for connected audio components. Instead of relying only on passive filtering, it uses an active conversion process to create a new AC waveform for its regenerated outputs.
One U.S. configuration power regenerator. Connected audio components are separate.
PowerPlant 12
AC regeneration, explained
Incoming AC is converted to DC and then reconstructed as an AC waveform. This gives the regenerator control over its output rather than simply passing the incoming waveform through a filter. Voltage regulation and distortion reduction are the engineering objectives; the effect on a particular system depends on the equipment and incoming supply.

PowerPlant 12
Choose capacity by input demand
The PowerPlant 12 has a 1,000 VA continuous rating in the U.S. configuration described here. Add up the connected components’ AC input demand, allow operating headroom, and consider amplifier draw during playback. An amplifier’s speaker-output wattage is not its wall-power consumption. Confirm the regional version and follow the manual’s outlet and load guidance before connecting your system.

Make it work in your system
Thoughtful setup makes the difference.
List the connected loads
Use the components’ AC consumption figures, including amplifier demand, rather than adding speaker-output wattage.
Allow headroom
Keep continuous loading within the regenerator’s specified capacity and follow the manual for outlet assignments and startup.
Verify the installation
Confirm mains voltage, regional outlet type, branch-circuit requirements, and ventilation before connecting equipment.

Before you choose
Common questions
Is this just a passive power strip?
No. A PowerPlant actively regenerates AC at its regenerated outputs. Follow the manual for the specific outlet modes and regional configuration.
How do I choose the size?
Compare the system’s AC input demand with the continuous capacity and allow headroom. House of Stereo can help review the intended component list.
Keep researching.
