Your favorite DAC deserves a good streaming partner.
Already have a DAC you love? Keep it. The NT-507T brings network playback to the system through a dedicated USB audio output, with TEAC’s fourth-generation network engine handling the music library and streaming duties. It is a focused component for listeners who want to choose their digital conversion separately.
- Pure network transport: connect a compatible external USB DAC.
- Ethernet, SFP optical networking and Wi-Fi 6.
- Up to PCM 768 kHz/32-bit and native DSD 22.5 MHz, subject to DAC compatibility.
- Roon Ready, TIDAL Connect and Qobuz Connect support.

Streaming, with a dedicated job description
The NT-507T leaves digital-to-analog conversion to another component. That gives you the freedom to pair its network platform with the DAC that suits your system, rather than replacing both functions together. TEAC’s G4 network engine supports local music libraries and streaming services, while the USB output delivers audio to a compatible converter.
A linear power supply with a toroidal transformer uses separate windings for the network, USB, wireless and indicator circuits. The aim is to keep the different electrical demands of a network player from unnecessarily sharing a supply path. It is the sort of engineering detail that matters more than adding another logo to the front panel.
Several ways to reach the music
Use wired Ethernet for a conventional network connection, Wi-Fi 6 where a cable is inconvenient, or the SFP interface with suitable optical networking equipment. Music can come from a network library or attached USB storage. TEAC HR Streamer provides library control, and supported Connect services let you work from their own apps. Streaming subscriptions and any required Roon service are separate.
Build the signal path before you buy
Network → NT-507T → USB DAC → amplifier → speakers. The TEAC UD-507 is a natural companion, combining conversion, volume control and headphone listening. Its analog outputs can feed the AP-507 power amplifier.
The SFP socket carries network data over fiber; it is not a Toslink audio output. The front USB-C and storage USB-A connections have a different role from the dedicated rear USB audio output. There are no analog RCA or XLR audio outputs, so an analog-only amplifier cannot accept the NT-507T directly.

A few useful answers
Will it make my DAC accept higher-resolution files?
No. The DAC and connection determine which formats can actually play. Check the DAC’s USB input specification rather than assuming its optical or coaxial limits are the same.
Can it replace my preamplifier?
Plan volume control at the DAC or amplifier. Any USB-based volume adjustment depends on the connected DAC’s capabilities; do not assume every DAC supports it.
