Capable of reproducing a wide sound spectrum despite its compact dimensions, the Solstice 3 impresses with its ability to reproduce all musical genres with ease.
This two-way bookshelf speaker benefits from the key innovations developed for the SOLSTICE range, such as the new barrel-horn tweeter, the mid-bass driver featuring the latest voice coil assembly, and the multi-functional base.
The Solstice 3 captivates with an open and precise sound, reproducing music naturally and faithfully. Vocals are highly realistic, whilst the lower frequencies perfectly maintain the balance of the sound spectrum. Combining finesse with energy, it delivers a lively and expressive performance across all musical genres.
Boasting excellent specifications, the Solstice 3 pushes the boundaries typically associated with a bookshelf speaker. Paired with its dedicated S05 stand, it comes into its own in rooms measuring 10 to 35 m² and delivers an equally compelling experience in a Hi-Fi setup as it does in an immersive home cinema system.
SOUND SIGNATURE
AN ICON REIMAGINED
As the successor to the iconic Comète, the Solstice 3 continues the tradition of TRIANGLE bookshelf speakers capable of delivering a rich sound in a compact format.
More balanced and refined, it combines natural timbres, rich detail and a wide soundstage. Vocals gain in presence, instruments in clarity, whilst the lower frequencies are perfectly controlled.
It offers a lively and deeply musical listening experience, true to TRIANGLE’s DNA whilst setting a new benchmark in terms of performance and refinement.
AT EASE IN ANY SITUATION
HI-FI & HOME CINEMA VERSATILITY
Its open and immersive soundstage allows it to reproduce with equal ease the emotion of a musical recording, the energy of a live concert or the spectacle of a major film.
Designed for both music and cinema, the Solstice 3 combines compactness with high performance. Highly versatile, it is equally at home at the heart of a compact hi-fi system or in a home cinema setup, where it can be used as a front speaker in smaller spaces or as a surround speaker in more ambitious setups.
NEW HORN TWEETER TZ2540 MG
ADVANCED ACOUSTIC TECHNOLOGIES
The new TZ2540MG horn tweeter represents a significant part of the acoustic innovations developed for SOLSTICE. It is based on a combination of two new acoustic architectures developed specifically for the range.
-
•
A new phase plug that optimises the dispersion of high frequencies.
- • A horn with an improved profile and a barrel-shaped mouth.
NEW DRIVER ARCHITECTURE
NEW BASKET
Developed specifically for SOLSTICE, the new 16cm die-cast aluminium salad bowl features an arch-shaped structure that is highly acoustically neutral.
MIDWOOFER
This loudspeaker has been designed to offer an optimal balance between power, natural sound and versatility.
NATURAL MEMBRANE
Its natural cellulose pulp membrane stands out for its ability to reproduce timbres with finesse whilst maintaining excellent.
INTERNAL REINFORCEMENT
DVAS STRUCTURE
TRIANGLE’s exclusive DVAS (Driver Vibration Absorption System) reduces vibrations through the clever integration of the drivers into the speaker’s structure. This improves the overall rigidity of the unit to dampen any unwanted frequencies. This process dampens the vibrations generated by the movement of the mid-bass driver.
The result: the sound reproduction gains in clarity, detail and dynamics.
Aesthetic and Acoustic Innovation
AN OPTIMIZED BASE
Hidden air flow
It conceals a laminar bass-reflex port specific to the range. This design, a first for TRIANGLE, reduces flow noise whilst ensuring dynamic and perfectly controlled low frequencies.
A dual-material structure
The base consists of a cast iron honeycomb structure covered with a thick layer of silicone. The combination of these two materials effectively absorbs vibrations from the speaker and helps to mechanically decouple it.
2° Inclination
Its 2-degree tilt optimises the speaker’s directionality by widening the listening field, whilst making the speaker appear sleeker and enhancing its sense of stability.
SOUND SIGNATURE
DESIGNED TO THE SMALLEST DETAIL
This new terminal block features a design inspired by the new TRIANGLE cable ranges, enhanced by an elegant champagne finish.
Compatible with both stripped cables and banana plugs, it combines practicality with sophistication. It is housed within a silicone ring that matches the cabinetry, whose sculpted pattern echoes that of the speakers.
This attention to the finest detail extends the speaker’s visual identity across a full 360°.
Customized stands
THE PERFECT MATCH WITH THE S05
The S05 speaker stand is the natural complement to the Solstice 3. Its design combines a profiled aluminium tube with a glass base to offer both stability and elegance.
Its top plate is perfectly tailored to the dimensions of the speaker’s base, ensuring the whole unit blends together seamlessly.
Available in Black, White, Teak and Greige, it allows the stand to be perfectly matched to all Solstice 3 finishes. Aluminium decoupling spikes and rubber caps complete the set, ensuring it is suitable for all floor surfaces.
Speaker use
Recommended room size
The Solstice 3 is recommended for listening rooms with a floor area of between 10 and 35 m².

• Between 10 and 35 m²: Solstice 3
• Between 15 and 50 m²: Solstice 8
Amplifier and Power Handling
Recommended amplifier RMS power: 25 to 130 watts per channel into 8 ohms.
Speaker power handling: 90 watts
* A speaker’s power handling refers to the average continuous power that the speaker can handle without damaging the drivers. You can use an amplifier with a higher power rating than the speakers’ power handling capacity by limiting the volume to 70 per cent of the maximum capacity. Conversely, an amplifier that is too weak will clip and cause distortion, which can also damage the speakers if used beyond its capacity.
Features
Speaker Specifications
• Type: Bookshelf Speaker with laminar vent Bass-reflex
• Number of ways : 2
• Sensitivity: 90 dB
• Frequency response (+/- 3dB): 48 Hz – 22,000 Hz
• Nominal impedance: 8 Ω
• Minimum impedance: 5.3 Ω
* A loudspeaker’s impedance can be thought of simply as an electrical resistance. The lower the loudspeaker’s impedance, the more current the amplifier will need to deliver.
- The nominal impedance, also known as the ‘standard’ impedance, is measured at a frequency of 1 kHz.
- The minimum impedance is measured at low frequencies.
TRIANGLE speakers never drop below 3 ohms, which means they can be used with virtually all Hi-Fi and home cinema amplifiers.
