Natural tone starts in the groove
The OTTA Mandolin brings the brand’s focus on midrange presence to a stereo moving coil cartridge. Its design pairs a black sandalwood body with a ruby cantilever and refined elliptical diamond, with voicing aimed at giving voices and acoustic instruments warmth, substance, and believable tone.
Wood, ruby, and a carefully built motor
Aged sandalwood surrounds a motor using a samarium-cobalt magnet and gold-plated iron yokes. Hand-wound 6N OCC wiring and an aluminum motor cover complete the assembly. Each cartridge receives electrical checks and a listening evaluation.
Choosing your OTTA
Mandolin is the starting point in the range. The OTTA Theorbo moves to a Micro-Ridge stylus and different coil design. For either model, matching your tonearm and phono stage matters as much as the choice of cartridge.
