SANTORIN 25 – a powerful and compact subwoofer
Powerful, compact, and easy to integrate, the new Santorin 25 subwoofer is ideal for complementing an iO3 system (for example) and can equip a room up to 50 m² for home cinema. Its 360° downward vertical radiation delivers bass that is both full and direct, with nuance and depth. It allows for discreet placement near walls and furniture without compromising acoustics. Featuring a new design that harmonizes with the redesigned Cabasse EOLE 4 and iO3 speakers (recently released in 2020 in a matte finish), the Santorin 25 sports two brushed aluminum rings encircling a cabinet finished in a high-quality matte paint, available in black or white.
This is the subwoofer for all multi-channel systems, discreet in their physical dimensions but impressive in their acoustic performance.
Overpowered woofers
The cellulose fiber cone of the 25S20 woofer ensures high power handling without distortion, even at impressive sound pressure levels. Its lightweight design and excellent damping allow for rich and fast bass. Combined with the 400W peak power of the TS200D amplifier, the dynamic effects of the Santorin 25 woofer are strikingly realistic, whether for music or home theater.
360° Radiation
The traditional front placement of the woofer is replaced by a vertical positioning for 360° downward radiation. Noise is filtered, internal standing wave effects are attenuated, the position of the Santorin relative to the walls is less critical, and the bass reproduction is purer and deeper, still lively and dynamic.
