VESTIA N°3
3-way floor-standing speaker
Vestia N°3 is a slender, high-performance bass-reflex hi-fi speaker. It is linear and extremely neutral. Its impressive dynamics, driven by three bass drivers with Slatefiber membranes, enable it to deliver the very best in both home cinema and music listening. Ideal for rooms of 25 m² or more, it will appeal to every listener in search of emotion.
BALANCE AND PRECISION
Thanks to bass-reflex technology (one vent at the front and one at the rear for an all-encompassing bass) and Slatefiber (recycled carbon fiber) diaphragms, the soundstage is precise and deep. Ultra-rigid cabinetry ensures perfect control of resonances and a neutral, uncolored sound.
A STEP CLOSER TO EMOTION
COMFORT AND PERFORMANCE
The sloping feet of the loudspeakers create a soundstage centered on the listener (Time Alignment), for even greater immersion and emotion. For an all-encompassing bass, the loudspeakers can be perfectly combined with the SUB 600P SUBWOOFER.
TIMELESS DESIGN
Thanks to a choice of harmonious, refined finishes - black or white leather-effect front panel, Black High Gloss, Dark Wood or Light Wood side panels - this floorstanding loudspeaker blends elegantly into any interior.
TECHNOLOGIES
TAM TWEETER
Wide diffusion angle
Membrane shape and materials are essential for high-fidelity reproduction. Focal engineers have designed the TAM tweeter. Manufactured in our workshops in France, it boasts a number of advantages, particularly in terms of wide-angle diffusion. Comprising an aluminum/magnesium inverted dome cone with an "M" profile for even greater rigidity, it delivers flawless harmonic balance and detailed treble. The presence of a decompression chamber limits disturbances caused by rear waves, for even greater sonic clarity.
SLATEFIBER MEMBRANE
Dynamic, balanced sound
Exclusive to Focal and made in France, the Slatefiber membrane is made from recycled carbon fiber and thermoplastic polymer. In their quest for perfection and as specialists in loudspeaker membranes, our engineers have chosen to use non-woven carbon fibers in this case.es in the same direction to achieve even greater rigidity, damping and lightness, the "essentials" of a good loudspeaker. Renowned for its dynamic, rich and balanced sound reproduction, this membrane has proved its worth on numerous products for the home, for professionals in recording studios, and also for listening in the car.
REVIEW & AWARDS
Focal Vestia No.3 Surround Loudspeaker System Review - Read More
"Unless it happened in the long forgotten, misty days of my earliest reviews, I can't recall ever before reviewing a Focal loudspeaker. But years ago, I did visit the Focal factory in France and was impressed by the company's forward, creative thinking. That remains true today, as the new Focal Vestia lineup clearly demonstrates. Focal Vestia No.3 Floor-Standing Speaker Review - Read More
"The Focal Vestia No.3s are a solid set of floor-standing speakers for the price. They produce a level, pleasing sound and can do so at surprisingly high loudness levels. They look quite nice, they are not huge, and they are easy to handle. They are doing a lot right, and while they aren’t the cheapest speakers around, they are not over-priced at all, especially seeing as how they are manufactured in France rather than China. I could easily live with a pair, and I am sure they will make many buyers happy since everything sounds good with them. Focal just keeps on making good speakers, and the Vestias add to that list." - James Larson
Why Bigger Is Not Always Better: Focal Vestia N°3 Loudspeaker - Read More
"All told, I was blown away by the N°3’s extreme clarity across the entire audioband; the spot-on tonal balance, which made the vocals I listened to sound real; and what I believe is standard-setting bass performance for a speaker of this size and at this price. The N°3 isn’t rated down to 20Hz, but the review pair got close by hitting a rock-solid 30Hz in my room with aplomb—what I heard was deep, tight, and tuneful bass that didn’t overshadow the all-important midband, at any volume level. To my eyes and ears, the spectacular-sounding N°3 is big enough—you’d have to pay considerably more to better its performance substantially. While the N°3 may not be the biggest speaker in the Vestia lineup, it’s the biggest speaker surprise that I’ve experienced in the last few years. " - Doug Schneider
