Nordost QBase Supreme Reference – AC Dist

The QBASE Supreme Reference represents the natural and uncompromised evolution of Nordost’s power distribution philosophy, engineered for reference systems where unrestricted current delivery, absolute transparency, and musical realism are non-negotiable.

For the first time in a QRT product, the QBASE SR is wired exclusively with Nordost’s Odin 2 cabling. Celebrated for its effortless current transfer, ultra-low noise characteristics, and natural musical presentation, Odin 2 elevates the QBASE SR far beyond conventional power distribution. The result is greater resolution, enhanced dimensionality, faster transient response, lower noise, and a profound sense of realism, control, and musical engagement.

Like all Nordost AC distribution products, the QBASE SR has a passive design, utilizing star-earth topology to eliminate the noise-inducing interaction of signal and ground paths by directing stray voltages and eddy currents to a single, centralized Primary Earth.

Housed within its mechanically-tuned chassis, the QBASE SR integrates proprietary QRT technologies, including AC-optimized QPOINT circuitry and multiple independently activated QSINE and QWAVE devices, allowing its performance to be tailored to both system requirements and listener preference.

Newly engineered high-current features include a 32A PowerCon input and dual 32A PowerCon outputs. These dedicated high-current outputs are designed to serve the most demanding amplifiers and reference components without restriction, while eight standard outputs offer exceptional flexibility for world-class installations worldwide.
