The Carbon Pro is a direct upgrade for Rega’s Carbon moving magnet cartridge, replacing the standard conical tip with a bonded elliptical stylus. It is a straightforward way to refresh the cartridge you already own without starting the whole analogue project again.

Compatibility first

This is the stylus assembly only. It fits the Rega Carbon cartridge and can be changed without removing the cartridge body from the headshell. It is not a complete cartridge and does not fit the Nd3, Nd5, Nd7 or Nd9.

Before you lower the needle

Secure the tonearm, switch off the system and follow Rega’s fitting guidance. Handle the assembly by its housing, keeping fingers away from the cantilever. After fitting, check tracking force rather than assuming the previous setting is correct.

A worn stylus is a good reason to act promptly. If the cartridge body is damaged or you are unsure which cartridge is fitted, check before ordering.
