Room to grow beyond nine channels.
The AVA25 pairs nine channels of Class AB amplification with processing for as many as 16 channels. Start with an immersive layout that uses the internal amplifiers, then add appropriate external amplification when the speaker plan calls for it. Processing channels and powered channels are different things; we will make sure the system has both where it needs them.

Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, IMAX Enhanced and Auro-3D support make this a versatile theater centerpiece. Dirac Live adds calibration tools, while HDMI eARC and network streaming help it handle everyday listening. The important part is making all that capability serve the room rather than overwhelm the person holding the remote.

Powered channels and processing channels are different. Larger layouts require additional power amplifiers. Power ratings vary with impedance and the number of channels driven; ask us to compare like-for-like ratings.
More processing room, with Class AB amplification.
The AVA25 provides nine powered channels and up to sixteen processing channels. The amplifier class changes to Class AB, while the decoding list includes Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, IMAX Enhanced and AURO-3D. Extra processing channels require appropriate external amplification where passive speakers are involved.
Seven HDMI inputs and three outputs include a second-zone output. Video support reaches 8K/60Hz or 4K/120Hz with VRR, ALLM and the listed HDR formats. Sixteen RCA preamplifier outputs give room to expand. Its 120-watt, two-channel 8-ohm rating and 90-watt, seven-channel 8-ohm rating have different test bandwidths; the full specifications below preserve those conditions.
Plan the channels before buying the boxes
Dirac Live room correction is included in the platform; Bass Control and Active Room Treatment are upgrade options requiring the appropriate licences. An immersive layout needs the right combination of processing channels, power-amplifier channels and powered subwoofers. Send us the intended layout, speaker models, room dimensions and existing equipment. We can check the channel map, amplification, HDMI sources and ventilation before an installation becomes an expensive puzzle.
Radia AV Control, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, AirPlay, Google Cast and Roon Ready are listed by ARCAM. Network playback and the coaxial and optical inputs have different format limits; see the specifications rather than assuming every socket accepts the same signal.
